Mirela Ruzic

LPC

Hello! My name is Mirela. I am fortunate to work with you to navigate through life's challenges to create a path that is authentic and meaningful to you. I believe we all have the ability to evolve and I'm honored to be the passenger to help you get there.

I have worked in the mental health field in various roles, such as community based services, behavioral interventionist, and a therapeutic based provider before transitioning into a full time counselor. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and diverse, cultural backgrounds. Areas of interest include depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar, personality, gender and sexual identity, relationship difficulties, self esteem, trauma, and other challenges.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Rogerian principles, and pulling from different modalities such as CBT and DBT to develop new coping skills, practice more supportive ways to respond to life stressors, and our relationships. I will ultimately cater to what best fits your needs. My intention is to offer a warm, safe, and trusting place where you can reflect, discover, and transform into your true potential.

In my spare time, I enjoy playing and watching basketball, traveling, spending time with my family that includes our son and 3 cats, playing video games, and catching up on one of many shows with my partner.
