Cynthia Cuenca-Annest

I have worked in the mental health field with LIFE Counseling Center for ten years. I have served individuals and families in different roles including Clinician, Community-Based Rehabilitation provider, Case Manager, Mental Health Consultant, and Translator.

I provide individual and family therapy in both Spanish and English. I have focused on helping children, adolescents and families with a variety of issues depression, anxiety, disruptive behaviors, relationship issues and family conflict.

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to develop new patterns of thinking as well as evidence-based psychotherapies focused on helping children and teens diagnosed with disruptive behavior disorders. I am also EMDR trained.

I enjoy sharing time with my heart, my husband, Stephen, our dog Timber, our family and friends. We both come from big families that enjoy gathering together. My husband and I are foodies; we enjoy cooking and/or finding a new restaurant. I enjoy playing games as a family, and, when it’s nice enough outside, I enjoy growing our garden.

Cynthia obtained both her bachelor’s degree in Psychology in 2009 and her graduate degree in Social Work in 2016 at Northwest Nazarene University. She is currently a Licensed Master Social Worker.
