Alicia Ascencio

I believe in the potential and value of every person and that it is a privilege to work with people as they find hope and freedom through their own growth process. I practice meeting each person where they are, and practice through an integrative and evidenced-based approach that meets their needs, values, and personal goals. Using my gifts of compassion and empathy I strive to provide a calm, genuine, and accepting environment that supports healing and growth through the therapeutic relationship. I have experience incorporating faith and spiritually into treatment, as well as practicing with a trauma- informed approach to treatment.

I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing PTSD, trauma, depression and anxiety. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have been working at LIFECounseling Center in Nampa, Idaho for more than four years.
